Elevated latency on Philippines authorisation path

    Failover complete; p95 back to 298 ms. Root cause was a regional ISP BGP flap affecting our primary APN carrier; we re-routed to the secondary carrier and monitoring shows no further impact. Post-mortem to follow within 5 business days.
  • Monitoring
    Traffic shifted 100% onto the secondary carrier; latency normalising. Will hold in this configuration for at least 24 hours.
  • Identified
    Upstream carrier acknowledged route flapping. Commencing failover to secondary APN.
  • Investigating
    We are investigating reports of elevated latency on Tap Core authorisations originating in the Philippines.

    One of three webhook dispatch workers had a stuck consumer on the transactions topic. Restarted the worker and scaled out.

    An unusually large CSV export from a customer saturated a worker; autoscaling was slower than expected due to a stale AMI.

    Some reporting exports are returning 503. We are investigating.
